Share Market Closing 10th October 2024: The volatility in the Indian stock market continues. On Thursday as well, tremendous volatility was seen in the stock market. However, in the end, the market closed in the green with a slight gain. Today the BSE Sensex closed at 81,611.41 points with a gain of 144.31 points. On the other hand, NSE Nifty 50 also closed at 24,998.45 points with a gain of 16.50 points. Let us tell you that on Wednesday, the BSE Sensex closed at 81,467.10 points with a decline of 167.71 points and the Nifty closed at 24,981.95 points with a decline of 31.20 points.

Sensex fell from 82,002 to 81,611 points.

Let us tell you that today at one time the Sensex reached the level of 82,002.84 points and the Nifty reached the level of 25,134.05 points. But after this, the market witnessed several fluctuations, and finally, the market closed with a very marginal gain. On Thursday, out of 30 Sensex companies, shares of 16 companies closed in the green mark and 14 in the red mark. Similarly, out of 50 Nifty 50 companies, shares of 23 companies closed in the green mark and 27 in the red mark.

Kotak Mahindra Bank shares surge.

Today, for the Sensex, Kotak Mahindra Bank’s shares closed with the highest gain of 4.16 percent. Apart from this, JSW Steel closed with a gain of 1.82 percent, HDFC Bank 1.75 percent, IndusInd Bank 1.43 percent, Powergrid 1.39 percent, Maruti Suzuki 1.34 percent, Axis Bank 1.20 percent, NTPC 1.09 percent. Shares of UltraTech Cement, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, ITC, and HCL Tech also closed in the green mark.

Tech Mahindra suffered a huge loss.

Tech Mahindra shares fell the most today by 2.82 percent. Apart from this, Sun Pharma shares closed with a loss of 1.90 percent, Infosys 1.78 percent, Tata Motors 1.10 percent, Titan 1.00 percent, Larsen & Toubro 0.74 percent, and TCS 0.56 percent. Shares of Hindustan Unilever, Asian Paints, Reliance Industries, Nestle India, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, and State Bank also remained in loss.
