
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his greetings for Ram Navami. He expressed hope that Lord Ram's blessings would continue to guide and support everyone in their efforts.
In a message posted on X, PM Modi said, "Ram Navami greetings to everyone! May the blessings of Prabhu Shri Ram always remain upon us and guide us in all our endeavours."
He also shared his excitement about visiting Rameswaram later in the day.
Visit to Rameswaram and Temple Prayers
The Prime Minister traveled to Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu where he planned to visit the Ramanathaswamy temple. Around 12:45 PM, he took part in darshan and performed puja at the temple.
Launch of the Pamban Rail Bridge and Other Projects
During the visit, PM Modi inaugurated India’s first vertical lift sea bridge — the new Pamban Rail Bridge — around 12 PM. He also flagged off a train and a ship from the adjacent road bridge and watched the bridge’s operations.
Investment in Tamil Nadu’s Development
By 1:30 PM, PM Modi laid the foundation stones and dedicated several rail and road projects worth over ₹8,300 crore. He addressed the public, emphasizing the importance of infrastructure growth in Tamil Nadu.
