A heartbreaking incident has been reported from Kerala, where the body of a 24-year-old female Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer, Megha, was found on the railway tracks near Pettah railway station. Megha, who was originally from Koodal in Pathanamthitta, had been living in Pettah as a paying guest.

Authorities suspect suicide as the cause of death. According to Pettah police, the train driver claimed to have witnessed a woman jumping onto the tracks. Following a postmortem, Megha’s body was returned to her family.

Senior Police Officer Dies in Hyderabad Road Accident

In a separate incident, a senior police officer lost his life in Hyderabad. The accident took place early Saturday morning in Hayatnagar. T.M. Nandishwar Babaji, a 57-year-old Assistant Superintendent of Police posted at the DGP office in Hyderabad, was struck by a bus belonging to the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation.

The collision occurred around 4:40 a.m. Eyewitnesses reported that the officer fell and sustained fatal injuries upon impact. He died at the scene. The police conducted a postmortem and initiated a formal investigation, registering a case under applicable legal provisions.
