Salman Khan Loves His Food Spicy and Full of Flavor, Reveals Mahesh in Candid Chat

During a free-flowing conversion featured on Kunal Vijaykar’s YouTube series “Khane Mein Kya Hai,” Salman shared with us some of the nuances of Salman’s eating behavior. While he was talking about food preferences from the industry, Mahesh immediately mentioned Salman’s name. “I like the food at Salman’s house. He s also a lover of spicy food. He wants taste. Usse ekdum proper tel vegre sab daalke proper khana pasand hai, wo sabkuch khata hai," he said.

The fact is shocking since Salman Khan is known to maintain a very good physique at all times. From his action films to dance routines, the man’s body image has been a discussion topic for many for ages. But apparently hidden beneath all that discipline is a foodie who claims taste trumps forgo filthy strict diets.  “Contrary to popular belief, he doesn’t worry much about dieting,” Mahesh added. “He likes his spices and wants proper taste in his meals. He doesn’t enjoy eating tasteless, diet food.” These comments are much needed to balance the often overhyped obsession with clean eating endorsed by many other celebs within the industry.

Examining moving Salman’s “chow” to a restaurant style gave Sanjay Dutt method a distinguishing touch– Sanjay’s home cooked meals are good, but mildly flavored. Whereas, Salman’s kitchen gives out Kreol dishes that are rich in aroma and seasoned. The truth here is simple: You will have to suffer through a dish full of spices if it is served to you at Salman’s.

This bond of friendship helps Mahesh deepen his relationship with Salman, with who he has already worked with on numerous movies. Observing their friendship, one witnesses how food acts as a powerful unifier – in this case, even in Bollywood.
