Sensex started trading with a gain of 195 points and Nifty with a gain of 59 points, these stocks opened with a big gain

Share Market Opening 14th October 2024: On Monday, the first day of the week, the Indian stock market opened at the green mark. The BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 195.57 points at 81,576.93 points and the Nifty 50 also opened with a gain of 59.20 points at 25,023.45 points. Let us tell you that the stock market closed in the red mark on Friday last week. On Friday, the BSE Sensex closed with a decline of 230.05 points at 81,381.36 points and the Nifty closed with a decline of 34.20 points at 24,964.25 points.

20 out of 30 Sensex companies started trading in the green mark 

At the start of trading today, 20 out of 30 Sensex companies were trading in the green zone and 10 in the red zone. Similarly, 39 out of 50 Nifty 50 companies were trading with gains and 10 with losses while 1 company’s stock was trading unchanged.

Shares of these companies opened with huge gains.

Among the Sensex companies, JSW Steel started trading today with the highest gain of 1.93 percent. Apart from this, Larsen & Toubro started trading with a gain of 1.51 percent, Tata Steel 1.43 percent, Infosys 0.84 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.82 percent, HDFC Bank 0.78 percent, and Reliance Industries 0.61 percent. Along with these, shares of HCL Tech, Adani Ports, Kotak Mahindra Bank, State Bank of India, NTPC, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, CTS, IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Asian Paints and ICICI Bank also opened in the green mark.

These stocks started trading in the red mark.

On the other hand, today the shares of Mahindra & Mahindra opened with a maximum decline of 0.51 percent. UltraTech Cement 0.28 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.23 percent, Sun Pharma 0.16 percent, Power Grid 0.15 percent, Axis Bank 0.14 percent, Nestle India 0.14 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.10 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.09 percent and Titan shares opened with a decline of 0.08 percent.
