Suspense Crime,Digital Desk:Passport Updates: The Government of India has come up with new policies involving passport verification. As per the notification, now police verification will not take 30 days or a month anymore. Instead the passport will be made online and sent to your doorstep in 15 days. As per the reports of “Hindustan Live” now the passport which is usually issued in a month which is 30 days will now be ready in 15 days. Now AI (Artificial Intelligence) will be used for scanning documents of police verification. Verification is going to be easier than before.

As per the report, documents will be verified through AI applications. The supporting documents that are required which needs to be verified your birth certificate, Aadhaar card, mark sheet, address and other details will be verified. During the verification process frauds such as fake Aadhaar card, wrong name, and wrong date of birth will be caught immediately. If anything wrong is found, the applicants need to be told to rectify it immediately. This will reduce the need for manual verification.

If you wish to travel overseas, we want to make you aware that you need to have a valid passport since it is necessary for any international travel. Without the passport, entry into any international borders will be restricted. It is advised to first apply for a passport before attempting any international travel. In case you do not possess a passport, you can luckily get it in 15 days provided you apply for it online from your home. You will not be required to engage with bureaucratic red tape at government offices.  

Now, thanks to artificial intelligence, there is no need to worry about after-the-fact delays since verification is done. The verification steps can be completed in 15 days which is invaluable. In a recent address to the police forces, the government said that the citizens have important commitments and their time is to be valued. It was also noted that for mobile tablets, a verification system for passport applications was set up recently in Delhi.

Previously, the deadline for police verification was 30 days. The police staff from the relevant police station visited the house of the applicant who had lodged the application, post verification. After completing the verification, he would draft a report that was subsequently forwarded offline. Even this step alone would consume over two weeks. Now the new procedure will incorporate AI technology.
