The process for recharging FASTag balance through an UPI app is as follows.

Take any UPI app on your smartphone (PhonePe, Google Pay, or BHIM).

Select Pay or Send Money or Transfer Money option.

What is FASTag?

Each vehicle comes with an RFID sticker which is placed on the vehicle windscreen. With this, there is no need to stop at a toll plaza as the fee will be automatically deducted from your account. However, having a sufficient balance in your FASTag account is crucial.
