The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a significant change impacting its affiliated schools, introducing a new directive that limits the number of students per section. From the current academic session onwards, schools affiliated with CBSE will be permitted to have a maximum of 30 students in any given section. This rule specifically applies to admissions for Classes 9 and 11. The board's intention behind this reform is to cultivate a more conducive learning environment, promoting better student-teacher interaction and ultimately enhancing the overall quality of education delivered. Previously, a larger number of students were allowed in a section, but this new guideline emphasizes reducing classroom density to offer a more focused educational experience. Schools must now ensure they adhere to this revised section strength for their CBSE affiliation and for the conduct of board examinations.
