
UP News: The infrastructure development activities underway in the state is turning Uttar Pradesh into the transport hub of the country. The 118 kilometer long four lane highway that is being discussed now is special in many ways. Also this four lane highway will be 138 km long traversing through 56 villages of Hamirpur and Mahoba. The Project Director of National Highway Authority has written a letter to the District magistrate to impose restriction order on the purchase of land and building activities in these locations. Conversion of Nature has sought an order to restrain all actions that will change the character of land and build on it under section 143(80) constructing on land reserved for the highway.
NHAI has drawn up plans for a four-lane green field highway starting from Kanpur ring road to Kabrai in up state. A four-lane highway 118 km long will commence from the borders of 56 villages of Hamirpur and Mahoba. Is that not the why NHAI has sent letters to administration to barricade the purchase of land and building activities round the four lane highway. In addition, the DM also appointed a committee chaired by ADM Finance.
The NHAI has adopted new approaches.
In discussions for the last couple of years, the construction of green field Kanpur-Kabrai National Highway 34 has been waiting for approval. The highway would previously go through the villages of Kanpur, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, and Mahoba which was later changed by the National highway authority. NHAI now proposes that National Highway 34, instead of going from the east, will go from the west through bridges on Betwa and Yamuna. This was confirmed in a letter to District Magistrate by the NHAI project director on 13th March. The NHAI project director also instructed the District Magistrate to issue Order Section 143 (80) National Land Code, 1991 and restrain any activities like change of land, construction.
Bharatmala four lane road project will be completed.
On the first of April, a letter was sent by the District Magistrate directing the District Magistrate Revenue and Finance SDM Sadar and Maudaha, Divisional Forest Officer, and the Executive Engineer Public Works to follow the directions of the letter. The committee consists of District Magistrate Revenue and Finance, SDM Hamirpur, Divisional Forest Officer Maudaha, Executive Engineer Public Works, and the Executive Officer. In accordance with the Bharatmala project, NHAI’s DPR report indicates that this four-lane highway is planned to be erected between Kanpur and Kabrai, a distance of 118 kilometers. It will reduce the recurring daily congestion and accidents on National Highway 34 and significantly ease the travel from Lucknow to Bhopal.

The beauty of 56 villages will improve as roads through Chandauli Manjhupur River, Kalauli Tira Danda are planned for construction. This is set to join Badanpur, Chandaukhi, Hamirpur, and Manjhupur Danda's cross highway with the Hamirpur tehsil four-lane highway. The proposed route also covers Bidokhar Purai, Bidokhar Medni, Bhakaul Mauja, Ragaura, Banki, Mahmoodpur, Pauthia Khurd, Amirta, Kirat Republic Towns, and will extend through Reevan, Chirka, Ragaul, Makraon, and Naraich. From this, Kusmela Gahbra, Bhawani, Chamrakhana, Ratauli, Silauli, Ratwa, Laround, and Bhamoura, Sichauli Pipraunda, and Achhrela along with Kishunpur, Bahrela, and Rohari will all be connected to the proposed highway. This is part of the Maudha tehsil changes.
