
Congress MP and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, is set to join the "Palayan Roko, Naukri Do" (Stop Migration, Provide Jobs) march led by Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar in Begusarai, Bihar. The event is scheduled for April 7.
Gandhi announced his participation through his social media accounts, encouraging attendees to wear white t-shirts and stand together for employment rights. His message emphasized solidarity with Bihar's youth and their ongoing fight against unemployment and forced migration.
Gandhi Urges Participation in White T-Shirt Movement
In his post, Gandhi said, "Young friends of Bihar, I am coming to Begusarai on April 7 to walk shoulder to shoulder with you in the ‘Palayan Roko, Naukri Do’ march. The aim is to make the whole world see the spirit of the youth of Bihar, their struggle and their suffering."
He invited supporters to participate actively by raising questions and pressing the government for solutions, stating, "You too come wearing a white t-shirt, ask questions and raise your voice to put pressure on the government for your rights and to remove it from power."
He also shared a link to join the ongoing 'White T-Shirt Movement' and added, "Come, let us together make Bihar a state of opportunities."
