A woman died and her 8-year-old child was seriously injured in a stampede at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theater during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’. The child has been hospitalized since December 4, and a major update has now come out regarding his health. The child’s condition remains critical and he has been declared brain dead due to lack of breathing. There is no improvement in the child’s neurological condition. Due to which the child is on mechanical ventilation. Tracheostomy is being considered to remove him from the ventilator.

On Tuesday, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner CV Anand, Telangana Government Health Secretary Dr Christina IAS visited KIMS Hospital on behalf of Telangana Government to inquire about the 9-year-old boy Mr Teja. According to a post shared by Hyderabad City Police on X (earlier Twitter), doctors have informed them that the boy is being treated with ventilator support and the treatment is likely to be prolonged.

The post also mentioned that the doctors will soon release a medical bulletin on Mr Teja’s health conditions. Health Secretary Dr Christina said that we are regularly monitoring Mr Teja’s health condition and hope for his speedy recovery.
Brain dead 9 year old innocent
The child was admitted to the hospital after suffering from oxygen deficiency and breathing problems after he was injured in the stampede at Sandhya theatre on December 4. The child was taken off oxygen support on December 10, but his condition deteriorated again on December 12. Meanwhile, Hyderabad city police commissioner CV Anand visited the hospital, after which he said that 9-year-old Sri Tej was brain dead due to lack of breathing and it will take a long time for him to recover.
Allu Arjun was arrested in the Sandhya theater stampede case
Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun was arrested after the stampede incident and was released on bail by the Telangana High Court. Later, the actor shared a post on his Instagram handle expressing his concern for the injured child, where he also revealed that he has been advised not to visit him in the hospital due to the ongoing legal proceedings. Allu Arjun has also announced all possible help to the victim’s family along with a compensation of Rs 25 lakh.
