Police in Lucknow arrested a man named Azam Ali Ansari for filming a social media reel while impersonating Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The incident occurred in the Ghantaghar area, where the individual, shirtless and carrying a licensed revolver, caused a large crowd to gather, leading to a traffic jam.


Azam, a resident of the Saadatganj area, was arrested on charges of disturbing public peace. According to officials, he had previously been warned for similar behavior.

Weapon Confiscated as Public Safety Concerns Rise

The video shoot, conducted late on Tuesday night, caused major disruption. The individual was seen arguing with bystanders while trying to mimic the actor’s style. Police officers attempted to defuse the situation, but when Azam refused to cooperate, he was taken into custody.

Authorities confirmed the seizure of his licensed revolver and stated that legal action is being taken. The police emphasized the importance of not misusing licensed firearms or public spaces for such performances.
