RCB’s batting did not work

Rajat Patidar was batting on 34 runs with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes, when he was caught out by Avesh Khan. Lomror also tried to take the team towards a big score by batting fast, but he was also dismissed by Avesh Khan on a personal score of 32 runs. 2 fours and 2 sixes were seen from Lomror’s bat. Avesh Khan took the maximum 3 wickets for Rajasthan Royals. Ravichandran Ashwin got 2 wickets. Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal got 1-1 success.

Parag shines after success

After this, Yashasvi Jaiswal started taking the innings forward along with captain Sanju Samson, but just 5 runs before completing his half-century, Yashasvi was trapped by Cameron Green. Yashasvi scored 45 runs hitting 8 fours. Soon after this, Samson also fell prey to Karn Sharma on a personal score of 17 runs. Dhruv Jurel (8 runs) also got out cheaply. Riyan Parag and Simran Hetmyer made a good partnership and took the team towards victory. However, Mohammad Siraj got RCB back in the match by dismissing both the batsmen in the 18th over. Parag returned to the pavilion after scoring 36 runs and Hetmyer 26 runs. After this, Rovman Powell (16 runs), who came to bat, gave Rajasthan the victory by hitting two consecutive fours and a six after playing two dot balls.
