The Government of India has unveiled a unique collection of Studio Ghibli-style portraits featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, capturing key moments from his leadership journey in the beloved Japanese animation style. The announcement was made on social media platform X with the caption: “Main character? No. He’s the whole storyline. Experience through New India in Studio Ghibli strokes.”

The initiative, shared through the MyGov Instagram page, features 12 portraits that use soft, pastel colors and intricate detailing—hallmarks of the Studio Ghibli aesthetic. Among the standout Ghibli-style scenes are reimaginings of PM Modi's meetings with world leaders like Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron, as well as depictions of him in Indian Army uniform, holding the ‘Sengol’ in Parliament, and participating in events like the Ram Janmabhoomi inauguration and his Lakshadweep visit.

On a similar note, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis joined the trend by sharing his own Ghibli-style animated video on X. His post reflected the growing enthusiasm around this artistic expression, noting: "Technology just doesn't stop surprising us pleasantly!"
