Captain America: Brave New World OTT Release Date and Streaming Details:

Marvel Studios has announced that Captain America: Brave New World will be available for digital rental from April 15 on popular platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango. A Disney+ release will follow at a later date.

The film debuted in theatres on February 14, 2025, and received mixed reviews from critics. Directed by Julius Onah, the movie continues the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) story arc featuring Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America, Sam Wilson.

Blu-ray and 4K Release

Plot Overview: What Is Brave New World About?

Captain America: Brave New World is the fourth film in the Captain America series and the 35th installment in the MCU. It follows Sam Wilson as he fully embraces the Captain America mantle after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The story begins when Sam and his new partner Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez) are dispatched to Mexico to stop the Serpent Society, led by Sidewinder (Giancarlo Esposito), from selling stolen classified materials.

After a successful mission, they uncover a deeper conspiracy involving the discovery of adamantium, a powerful new metal found in the remains of Celestial Tiamut in the Indian Ocean. The plot intensifies as global powers clash over the resource, and Dr. Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson) manipulates world leaders using mind control.

As tensions rise, President Ross (Harrison Ford) mutates into Red Hulk, forcing Sam into a high-stakes battle. Ultimately, Sam’s leadership resolves the crisis and leads to the redemption of Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly), tying up critical loose ends in the MCU.
