Weather projection for India: Currently, the weather is overly unpredictable. While the lukewarm season began, temperatures began to increase at the end of February. Temperatures took a sudden drop in the beginning of March. The Indian Meteorological department does warn of two active western disturbances that are currently in place. Which is why the Northern region of India is experiencing chills. The extreme strong winds during the evening and night are increasing the coldness. Meteorologists are predicting that this will last until Holi. These changes are unprecedented, however, the heatwave will not be felt until after March 20.

The increase of warm weather in Northern India

As a matter of fact, March 9 marks the start of a new western disturbance in Northern India. From the 9th of March, there will be light to moderate showers and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between March 9-11. This will also bring in some level of change for the weather in Delhi, Haryana and the western region of Uttar Pradesh. However, the wind speeds in these locations will remain while the temperature will continue to decrease.

Forecast for comparison on checking probability of rainfall in the North East region of India

As per the latest updates from the meteorological department of India, a cyclone circulation system is in progress in the Northeast region of India. Due to that, mild to medium range levels of precipitation along with snow could be received in Arunachal Pradesh. There is also a chance of rainfall in bits and pieces in the Meghalaya and Assam regions. Other than these, strong gales accompanying thunder and lightning may occur in Bihar on the 8th March, and look to be blowing at 30–40 kilometers per hour.

How the opposite changes have had an impact of cold winds in the two cities of Rajasthan and Delhi

Rajasthan has experienced a decrease in temperature at night in various parts of the region because of strong Northern winds. In Fatehpur, the temperature has decreased to 4° Celsius while in Pali and Nagaur, the temperature has fallen to 5.6° Celsius. Delhi has also been experiencing gales blowing at 20-30 kilometers per hour, which has affected both daytime and nighttime temperatures. The northern area currently has a maximum temperature of around 25° Celsius and a minimum of 11.8° Celsius.

Cold wind and dry weather in UP

The weather in Uttar Pradesh has changed recently due to the strong winds in the region. In Lucknow, the lowest temperature was measured at 12.5 degrees Celsius while the highest was measured at 25.9 degrees Celsius. Dry winds are likely to sweep through the western and eastern areas of UP at 15 to 25 kilometers an hour, with the possibility of reaching 35 kilometers an hour. However, the weather conditions in the state are expected to stay dry until the 10th or 11th of March, with no rain in sight.

Looking Ahead.. Future Consequences

In many regions of the country, the heat has already begun to have an impact. The recorded temperatures in Odisha, Telengana, Maharashtra, Kerala, North Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and some parts of West Bengal is at 35 to 39 degrees Celsius. For Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand, the temperatures are relatively cooler at 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. According to meteorological reports, temperatures will start rising rapidly after March 20, throughout the country, triggering the impact of heat.
