Mohanlal and Prithviraj’s L2: Empuraan Shatters Records Before Hitting Screens:

The Malayalam movie L2: Empuraun is expecting to release on 27 March 2025, and advance booking have already started since it's starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj, who have broken records with their previous movies.

Mohanlal has done social media publicity and stated that Empuraun has made an incredible record with Rs 58 Crore booking, even more than the popular movie Pushpa 2. The movie has topped with pre-release collection of streaming platform's in various countries for Indians settled abroad.

At the international market, Empuraun has beaten records with $4 million (est 30 crore), and the movie will look forward to cross billion in India with domestic sales of Rs 23. This makes it the first Malayalam movie to open with advance booking of Rs 70 crore in a single weekend.

L2: Set to release in 2024, Empuraan is both directed by and stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, alongside a brilliant cast comprising of Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Abhimanyu Singh, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jerome Flynn, Suraj Venjaramoodu playing crucial parts in the movie.
