The press meet was held in New Delhi earlier this week, with Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas and Abhimanyu Singh in attendance. The ‘Empuraan’ actors could not hide their excitement for the film’s release on March 27, 2024, and were happy to speak about the film. During the discussion, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who directed the film alongside Mohanlal, Manju Warrier and Indrajith Sukumaran, revealed that a significant amount of the movie is in Hindi and is looking forward to the audience's reaction.

Empuraan’s cast revealed a few details about the film. Prithiraj confirmed that Empuraan will be available in five Indian languages including English and, of course, Hindi. “This is a film which is an aspirational project for all of us in Kerala. We have tried to dream very big and this is a cinema where we are trying to push the boundaries of what we guessed is possible within the boundaries of our industry. This is the reason we are very adamant that there should be a release of the film on March 27 in all the five languages across the country and all over the world. I am personally excited for the reactions for the Hindi version of the film,” he said.

Highlighting his part of the film’s hopes and expectations, as it was also shot in Hindi, he stated that, “Firstly, we have put in a lot of effort, time and money in trying to make the Hindi version of the film sound, feel and look as authentic as possible. Secondly, a good 30-35% of this film is in Hindi. It is shot in Hindi because the story is such, the characters are such that a large part of the film is Hindi speaking. And I am going to retain the hindi speaking portion of the film as hindi speaking in all five versions of it. So I am very keen to know what are the responses to the Hindi version of the film is."

Responding to the question about the release of L2: Empuraan and its clash with Salman Khan's Sikandar, Prithviraj mentioned that there is no competition between the films and good luck to the Sikandar team. “Salman Khan is one of the biggest stars in the country, and there is no competition between the two movies,” he added.

L2:\ Empuraan is set to star the famous MohanLal and is directed by Prithviraj who debuted his career with the film. Its cast is massive and features some of the biggest actors in the industry such as Tovino Thomas alongside Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jerome Flynn, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Abhimanyu Singh, and many others. \L2: According to the information from Sacnilk, the film has accumulated a whopping sum of 50 crores in advance bookings for the opening weekend, and from what is looks like, the movie has received even more. This means it is the first ever Malayalam movie to achieve such an astonishing goal. L2: L2: Empuraan is aided by Prithviraj’s direction and produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions.
