Barkha Bisht Opens Up About Breakup with Karan Singh Grover: “We Grew into Different People”:

Actress Barkha Bisht, in a candid interview with Siddharth Kannan, opened up about her past relationship with actor Karan Singh Grover, which lasted around two years. The former couple dated after working together on the 2004 teen drama Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi.

Though both have now moved on, fans have often speculated about the reasons behind their breakup. Barkha finally shared her perspective.

Recalling their early days, Barkha said, “Karan was a very kind person, and I was drawn to that. His inherent kindness stood out in a city like Mumbai where kindness isn’t always easy to find. And yes, he was very good-looking—those six-pack abs! I was only 23 at the time.”

Contrary to popular belief, Barkha clarified that nothing dramatic happened. “Our perspectives and views on life started to differ as we grew older,” she shared. “He was also two years younger than me, and over time, that age gap started to feel more significant.”

Calling it her first heartbreak in Mumbai, she added, “I’m still very fond of him and I wish him the best wherever he is.”

Karan Singh Grover is now married to actress Bipasha Basu. The couple tied the knot in 2016 and welcomed their daughter Devi in 2022.

Barkha Bisht was previously married to actor Indraneil Sengupta, whom she met on the sets of Pyaar Ke Do Naam. They got married in March 2008 and were together for 14 years before parting ways in 2022. The former couple share a 13-year-old daughter, Meira.
