Alan Walker, who is quite popular in India, has also publicly appreciated the likes of Indian rappers Hanumankind and Badshah. In a talk with News18, Walker commented on how he hopes to collaborate with them in the years to come.

Praise for Hanumankind and Badshah

Walker spoke of Hanumankind with much appreciation due to his distinct flow and versatility, specifically mentioning how he incorporates Tamil elements into techno and electronic music. He further added that the artist's energy is extraordinary and noted the originality of his sound.

With regards to Badshah, Alan Walker was impressed with the way the rapper blends Hindi and Punjabi into a contagious and anthemic sound.

Walker's Relation to India

The DJ’s first visit to India was in 2016, and from then, the country’s culture, people, food, and music have been deeply growing onto him. Looking back on his previous show, he recalled one of the best moments that he experienced when the crowd joined him in singing his song, Faded, calling it a dope experience.

“During my last show, it was amazing for me when the whole audience sang together to Faded, that is something I will never forget. The kindness and enthusiasm here are unbelievable. India is different,” he said.

Latest Tour and Future Plans

Alan Walker just finished the Walkerworld India Part II Tour and performed for the 9th time in India at Jaipur on April 20. He will next perform in Barcelona, London, Berlin, and Paris for the Walkerworld European Tour.

Born in 2025, Walkerworld 2.0 is going to be released in January.

Coachella Debut of Hanumankind

In the other event, rapper Hanumankind steals the headline with his Coachella debut performance alongside a Kerala chenda melam (traditional drumming ensemble). His tracks such as “Run It Up” and “Big Dawgs” was a hit with the audience and went viral almost instantly showcasing his international fame.
