Akhilesh also distanced himself from the life of Ram Lalla, wrote a post on X in response to the invitation

Akhilesh Yadav: The entire country is waiting for the consecration of Ram Lalla’s life in Ayodhya. Ramnagari is ready. When Lord Shri Ram is consecrated on January 22, celebrities from across the country and the world will witness it. But most of the opposition leaders will not be in this program. Now the name of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has also been included in this list. 

..will definitely go as a visitor

Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said on Saturday night that he would definitely visit Ayodhya with his family after the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla. SP chief Yadav shared a letter written to Champat Rai on the social media platform ‘X’ on Saturday night, at the beginning of which he wrote with the address ‘Respected Shri Champat Rai Ji, General Secretary, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Ayodhya’. ‘Thank you for the warm invitation to the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Ayodhya, and hearty best wishes for the successful completion of the ceremony.’

Akhilesh’s response to the invitation

In this letter, the SP chief said, ‘After the consecration ceremony, we will definitely come as visitors along with our families. Thanks again for the invitation received today. However, SP chief Yadav had said on Friday that he has neither personally nor received the invitation for the consecration program of Lord Ram to be held in Ayodhya. He also said that if the invitation has been sent to him through courier, then its receipt should be shown to him so that it can be known whether the invitation has been sent to the correct address or not.

This allegation was made against BJP

Talking to journalists at the Samajwadi Party office in the capital on Friday, Akhilesh said on the question of being invited to the Pran Pratishtha program in Ayodhya, ‘They (BJP) work to humiliate. I have not received any invitation. When we organize any program, we invite only our acquaintances. We do not invite anyone to follow the path. We have not been given any invitation.

Earlier, Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s national spokesperson Vinod Bansal was asked whether an invitation has been sent to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav for the Pran Pratishtha program. To this, he replied, ‘I cannot say whether the invitation has reached him or not, but his name is on the invitation list.’
