According to IMD, the western part of the Himalayan region will have rough weather from March 9. Moderately heavy to very heavy rain and snow will be experienced in Jammu and Kashmir, ladakh, Gilgit, and Baltistan and Himachal Pradesh from March 9 to 12. Uttarakhand is expected to get some light to moderate rains and snow between March 10 and 12. The cold in the hills will increase which in turn may require traffic control measures.
