U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Tuesday announced federal charges against Cooper Frederick, who is suspected to have firebombed a Tesla dealership in Colorado on March 7.

“I’ve made it clear: If you take part in the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, we will find you, arrest you and put you behind bars,” Bondi said in a video posted to X.

"Let this be a warning. You can run, but you cannot hide. Justice is coming," she added.

Cooper Jo Frederick, 24, was arrested on March 14 for the above-mentioned incident. He was charged under state law for possessing an incendiary device (two counts), manufacturing an incendiary device (one count), criminal mischief ($5,000 – $20,000) and using an incendiary device in a felony (one count).

Bondi called the attack “firebombing” and stated it was a “serious threat to public safety” while also confirming that the Justice Department plans to “give him 20 years in prison.” The FBI had been investigating him and arrested him in Plano, Texas. His court records indicate that he will be brought back to Colorado to stand trial.

President Donald Trump has suggested that anyone who launches an assault on Tesla properties should be deemed a domestic terrorist. He has even argued that convicted criminals should be housed in El Salvador for the duration of their sentences.

Actually, the number of attacks on Tesla escalated during Trump’s regime starting January. The attacks include cars set on fire, charging stations getting damaged, and vandalism in the showrooms. Even some Tesla cars that are not on the company’s premises have been attacked.

In other regions, including Europe and across America, protests have erupted, which are against Elon Musk being in charge of anything related to Trump. The ones opposing Musk violently damaged the cars and the showrooms representing the company to put a dent into his wealth.

It is common knowledge that Musk is the richest man in the world. He now heads the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which was created by Trump. With this advancement came the scandal of giving Musk access to government secrets and him slashing the budgets of numerous agencies. His opponents say he has caused the public disorder by teslareining this and having political muscle power.
