2893916 Up BijliLucknow- As the temperature is rising, the demand for electricity is also increasing continuously. If we look at the demand of last year, this time this record has been broken on 22nd May itself. Breaking the record of last year, 28336 MW of electricity was demanded on 22nd May, which was fulfilled by Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited.

The record was broken two months ago,
while on 24 July last year, the demand for electricity had reached 28282 MW. At present, this old record has been broken about two months ago. Looking at this, it is expected that perhaps this time the demand for electricity will increase even more.

Keeping in mind the heat and demand for electricity, UPPCL Chairman Dr. Ashish Goyal reviewed the preparations. Seeing the increasing heat, the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of increase in temperature from Saturday to June 1  .

UPPCL Chairman Dr. Ashish Goyal
has instructed not to take breakdown without any unavoidable reason. Due to which sufficient trolley transformers will be available and teams of employees will be deployed to fix local faults. Due to this, repair work can be done in minimum time and power supply will become easier.
