India Post GDS January Merit List 2025 Released: Check Your Status and Next Steps

The India Post GDS January Merit List 2025 has been released by India Post on 21 March 2025. The selected candidates list is available for all 22 states under India. Applicants who signed up for the Gramik Dak Sevak posts can view the merit list on India Post’s website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

The shortlisted candidates include those from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Northeastern states, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal.

The applicants are filtered through a computer generated merit list which is created on the basis of 10th standard board exam results. The selection of the filtered candidates will be completed by physically checking the actual credentials of the candidates with the Divisional or Unit Head of the Division or unit where the vacancy has been announced.

According to the notification's results, these candidates will receive instructions from the Divisional Head named beside their respective entries not later than April 7, 2025. The invited candidates are required to appear for the verification with original documents and two self attested photocopies of all the relevant documents.

1. Go to the official page of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

2. Press India Post GDS merit list button located on the starting page.

3. A new page will appear and the merit list will be available statewise.

4. Choose the state you wish to view the merit list.

5. You will be able to see the merit list on the screen.

6. Verify and save the merit list.

7. Print the document for future use.

India Post plans to hire workers through this campaign for a total of 21413 GDS posts.
