A tragic incident occurred onboard Air India flight AI2845 on Friday morning as a passenger died mid-flight while en route from Delhi to Lucknow. The deceased has been identified as Asif Ullah Ansari. The flight landed at Lucknow’s Amausi Airport at 8:10 AM.

Cause of Death Under Investigation

Initial reports suggest the passenger may have suffered a heart attack during the landing phase of the flight. However, no one on board initially noticed his condition. The onboard medical professionals examined the passenger and declared him dead.

According to airport sources, the passenger had not fastened his seat belt, which drew attention from the crew during landing procedures.

Medical Assistance Was Attempted Onboard

As per statements from the airport administration, the flight crew informed them that the passenger’s health had deteriorated suddenly. Immediate CPR and first aid were administered onboard.
