According to the IMD, a low-pressure area has also formed over Bangladesh and the Gangetic plains of adjoining West Bengal. It is likely to intensify further in the next two days and move towards the Gangetic coastal area of ​​West Bengal, northern Odisha, and Jharkhand.

Sea conditions are likely to remain very rough in the coastal areas of Gujarat, Pakistan, and North Maharashtra till August 30. The water level in Gangapur Dam has increased after heavy rains in Nashik.
