The DM of Sambhal has written a letter to ASI demanding carbon dating of the temple and the well so that the correct time of the Shivling and idols can be ascertained. At the same time, those who made the temple a victim of encroachment 46 years ago are also being identified.

Today, on the second day of the discovery of the Shiv temple in Sambhal, the morning prayers and aarti were performed. Since it was Monday, Hindus from nearby areas are reaching the Shiv temple to perform Jalabhishek. Police is deployed for the security of the temple. The Shiv temple has been written as Ancient Mahadev Temple. Meanwhile, the well found in the temple premises is also being excavated. It is being said that the well is 30 feet deep but till now 15 feet of digging has been done.

Here, strong security arrangements have been made for the temple. 4 CCTVs have been installed at the entry and exit points of the temple. To widen the street, time has been given to break the illegal encroachments. If they do not break it within a week, the bulldozer will break it and the cost will also be recovered from them. Earlier, the GST team never dared to enter the Muslim localities of Sambhal. The electricity department team did not dare to catch the electricity thieves, but now similar action is being taken against everyone, whether common or special.
