
In a shocking incident from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, three workers lost their lives due to a boiler explosion in a local paper mill. The accident occurred early Friday morning in the Bhojpur police station area, close to Delhi.
ACP Gyan Prakash confirmed the fatalities and said, “Three workers died in the incident of a boiler explosion in this factory.” Several others sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical care.
Workers Thrown 50 Feet in Blast
According to eyewitness accounts and police sources, the explosion happened around 6 AM while the workers were on duty. The force of the blast reportedly threw the victims nearly 50 feet away. All three were killed instantly, and their bodies were severely mutilated.
Victims Identified, Legal Action Underway
Deputy Commissioner of Police Surendra Nath Tiwari identified the deceased as Yogendra, Anuj, and Awadhesh. The factory owner, Awanish, is a resident of Modinagar. The unit primarily manufactures lamination paper.
The families of the deceased have arrived at the accident site. Authorities have confirmed that further legal procedures are in progress.
