Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Realme is set to launch the highly-awaited GT 7 series globally on May 27, with India being one of the first countries to feature it soon after. The company has been ramping up the anticipation for the performance-oriented lineup with the tagline “Power that never stops.”

Two Models Expected: GT 7 and GT 7T

At least two smartphones are expected to make an appearance under the GT 7 series which includes the GT 7 and GT 7T. Both were recently noted on the BIS website under the model number RMX5061 and RMX5085. The listings indicate that the devices are already cleared of the regulatory red tape for India and are set for launch.

Amazon Microsite Highlights Gaming Performance

A solo Amazon India microsite makes the partnership between Realme and Krafton, the studio that developed BGMI, public. Realme claims that the mobile game can run at a sustained 120 fps for up to 6 hours on the GT 7 series which would definitely cater to the massive mobile gaming audience.

Expected Specs and Tier Placement

Even though detailed specs will be released later, it looks like the GT 7 and GT 7T will focus on premium features and performance at a mid-range price. These models are positioned a notch below the GT 7 Pro that was released in November 2023, which includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, sophisticated cooling, and baller graphics tuning.

Since the GT 7 Pro is centered on performance, it is reasonable to assume that the GT 7 and GT 7T will offer improved thermal control, optimized workflow, and other gameplay enhancements.

Sometime during Q2 of 2025 for India

With Realme actively promoting the phones and BIS certification done, the launch of the GT 7 series in India is set to happen soon after the global launch, which they estimate will be early-spring of 2025.
