Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is particularly cautious about her family life, including her twins, Jai and Gia. Since the couple had them through surrogacy with husband Gene Goodenough in November 2021, Zinta has refrained from publicly revealing their photos.
She is now part of the list of celebrity parents like Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, and Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who wish to protect their children's faces from public attention.
Strong Warning to Fans and Media Over the Privacy of Children
Zinta highlighted her frustrations of being snapped in the wrong context during a recent Q&A session on X. Equally, she shared a strong criticism concerning the unrestricted pictures taken of her children.
“People assume they can have children pictures at will and that annoys me. I am otherwise a happy person, but such assumptions literally push me to my limits,” she replied. Further, Zinta stressed that asking fans to refrain from public recording without permission and consent is needed.
I hate taking pictures in temples, early in the morning after a flight, in bathrooms and during security checks ! Asking me for a photo is the best way to get a photo unless you are asking for pictures in the above situations ! Taking my kids pictures will bring out my Kali… https://t.co/oYuIIEYZlq

Snapshots of a Protective Mother Shared within Limits
Zinta is known to maintain her privacy, but from time to time, she gives fans a glimpse into her life as a mother. She recently added a tender caption to a photo stating, “Home is where the heart is & right now, I’m definitely missing home! Counting the days before I see them #Ting!”
Such glimpses serve as a balance to public engagement while privacy remains firmly intact, suggesting that life as a celebrity is not always on display for the world to see.
Emerging Celebrity Pattern: Keeping Children Away from the Limelight
Zinta’s decision is in line with a growing tendency of public figures who wish to shelter their children from fame and relentless media scrutiny. In this age of social media and constant surveillance, an increasing number of celebrities are taking intentional steps to shield their family from public scrutiny.
