BJP leader Arjun Singh has alleged a bomb attack and gunfire outside his home in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. According to Singh, the attack occurred around 10:20 PM and involved a group of 50-60 individuals.

Details of the Attack

Singh stated that he and others heard gunshots, and when they went outside, the area was already crowded with police personnel and bystanders. He reported that two bombs were thrown at his house—one of which exploded, while the other remained unexploded but contained gunpowder.

Previous Incident Recalled

Singh also referred to a similar incident on October 4, during which he claims he was injured. He named Namit Singh, Saddam Ansari, and Prem as those involved in both attacks. He further alleged that these acts were orchestrated under the direction of individuals named Somnath Shyam and Partho Bhowmik.

Claims of Police Inaction

According to Singh, the attack occurred in front of police officers but no immediate action was taken. He questioned the absence of any official response despite the presence of law enforcement during the incident.

Allegations of a Larger Conspiracy

Singh accused the accused individuals of using Namit Singh as a scapegoat and hinted at a broader conspiracy. He emphasized that such violent acts, if left unchecked, could escalate further. Singh claimed to have shared evidence including photos and videos of the attack with higher authorities in the BJP leadership.

Call for Investigation

He also urged officials to review available CCTV footage and take strict action. Singh compared the situation to national-level security concerns, stating that mere verbal condemnation is not sufficient if local authorities fail to act.
