The winter session of Parliament is starting from Monday. Before the start of the session, PM Modi addressed the country from the Parliament premises. PM Modi said that it is a winter session and the atmosphere will also be cold. This is the last period of 2024, the country is also preparing to welcome 2025 with enthusiasm and excitement. This session of Parliament is special in many ways. The biggest thing is that the entry of our Constitution into the 75th year is in itself a very bright opportunity for democracy.
PM Modi called for a healthy discussion in the Parliament. PM Modi further said that unfortunately some people, who have been rejected by the public, are trying to control the Parliament by the hooliganism of a handful of people for their political gains. Their purpose is not achieved by stopping the activities of the Parliament. But seeing such actions of theirs, the public rejects them. PM Modi said that the public has rejected these people 80-90 times.
PM Modi said that the public punishes such hooligans. The public is watching them. Such people do not respect democracy. Some people neither work nor let others work. The opposition should respect the sentiments of the people. The opposition has to live up to the expectations of the people. Some opposition MPs do not fulfill their responsibilities. They do not care about the aspirations of the people. PM Modi said that the world is looking towards India with hope. I hope that the discussion will yield some meaningful results.
Before the start of the winter session of Parliament, PM Modi said that I repeatedly requested the opposition. I request some opposition parties who have been rejected by the public, they create obstacles. I hope that new people who have new ideas and energy come. The world is looking towards India. India rarely gets such opportunities in the world as it does today. The message should go to the world. We should repent for the time we have lost. I hope that this session is very fruitful. It should strengthen global dignity and give strength to new MPs.
