Now BJP MP and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy has responded to the demand for giving state status to Jammu and Kashmir.

What did G Kishan Reddy say?

In response to a question related to granting statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said on Friday that the central government will respond to the demand for restoring statehood at the right time. However, G Kishan Reddy made it clear that Article 370 will not be restored in Jammu and Kashmir.

BJP’s performance is commendable.
Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said that the performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections has been commendable. He said that the BJP has got more seats in the state than before. Let us tell you that the BJP had made G Kishan Reddy in charge of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. He said that due to the efforts of the central government, the elections in the Union Territory were conducted peacefully. There was no need for re-polling.

Elections for the 90 assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir were held in three phases. In the results declared on October 8, 42 candidates from the National Conference, 29 from BJP, 6 from Congress, 3 from PDP, and 7 independent candidates won. G Kishan Reddy said that BJP will also win the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections.
