Suspense crime, Digital Desk : For aiding new-age entrepreneurs in the state, Uttar Pradesh government has launched Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Abhiyan Yojana. Youths aged between 21 to 40 years can now avail an interest-free loan up to ₹5 lakh without any collateral.

The scheme is expected to augment self-employment opportunities and enable the youths to set up their own ventures, which in turn will help in the economic growth and employment generation in both urban and rural areas of yes, Uttar Pradesh.  

What Are the Key Objectives of Yuva Udyami Yojana

- Provide support to those with entrepreneurial skills but lacking funds.

- Promote self-employment and curb dependancy ratio.

- Enhance economic participation by empowering the youth demographic.

- Foster local job opportunities through startups.

Who Can Apply?

Eligibility Criteria Requires:

- Be aged between 21 to 40 years

- Be residents of Uttar Pradesh

- Interested in launching or scaling a business.

Documents Needed for Application

Participants must provide the following documents during registration:

- Aadhar Card
- Educational Certificate
- PAN Card
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Bank Passbook
- Passport-size Photograph

Application Procedure via Special Camps

To make the process easier, UP government has set up application camps starting with one at Canara Bank in Chithaira village, Greater Noida from May 7. The camps take the applicants through eligibility, documentation, and loan queries step by step.

Why this scheme is a game-changer

As said by the Deputy Commissioner of Industries, this scheme is most beneficial to young people who have great business concepts but are short of funding. It enables them to become self-employed instead of employees and enhances confidence, economic independence, and innovativeness.
