A truck driver in Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh, received the shock of his life when he returned home from work to an empty house. He discovered that his wife had eloped with her minor lover, taking with her a significant amount of cash and expensive jewelry.
The incident took place in the Rura police station area. The husband, who spends long periods away from home due to his profession, came back to find his wife missing. After searching for her, he realized that thousands of rupees in cash and jewelry worth lakhs had also disappeared.
Upon questioning neighbors and piecing together the events, the distraught husband learned that his wife had run away with a young man from their locality. The lover is reportedly a minor.
The husband immediately went to the Rura police station and filed a formal complaint against his wife and her lover. Based on his statement, the police have launched an investigation and are now actively searching for the runaway couple. The case has become a major topic of discussion in the local community.
