In a release by The Resistance Front(TRF), they have denied involvement in the violent assault on on tourist vehicles at Pahalgam on April 22 which left 26 dead. This attack was touted as one of Pahalgam's deadliest terrorist attacks. TRF even went as far as taking responsability for the attack on their social media page, but later called it “hasty and true.”
The resistance group made a try to assuage it's public image, attributing the social media update to Dominion. TRF claims: “Due to active cyber counter propulsion measures on their system we intercepted some set documents which create illusion of high-casted Indian part of opposition.”
Cyber Attack Claims and Accusations Against India
TRF claims: “Our internal investigation suggests that closed circle of Indian’s cyber intelligent need to be arrested for hacking our machines,” adding “they don’t provide any disposition so that we all can take them from land of multiplex public show on run”
Revolutionary Front were able to unite a great number of outside dumbheads in defense of their cause, by exposing without proper evidence to Public imagination creating frenzy in the name of hind indian with underlined afro techniques. This is counterproductive and completely nad.
Capture on video firing on vehicles carried out with mounted weapons at civilians at Baisaharan valley located right opposite of Pahalgam block in Anantnag district set nation on outrage. The incident was witnessed by tourists making it even worse. However Prime Minister did express rage stating he, 'Will chase for this scum to the end of the Pluto for not juggling but for the betrayal of his nation.'
Various reports indicate that foreign as well as local militants were involved with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). It is claimed that the prominent figure of Lashkar-e-Taiba and the mastermind of the Mumbai massacre on 26/11 Hafiz Saeed had a hand in planning the attack as well.
Increased Diplomatic Strain between India and Pakistan
In the wake of the attack, several South Asian diplomatic actions were taken, as India:
Removed the exemption accessibility of the SAARC visa for Pakistani citizens
Suspended the ICP at Attari
Expulsion of military attaches of Pakistan stationed in India
Lapse of the Indus Waters Treaty
Upon these actions, Pakistan retaliated by:
Forbidding Indian airlines to use their airspace
Lapse of the trade treaty with India
Setting forth a warning to India declaring that the Indus Waters Treaty suspension would be viewed as declaration of war.
TRF Classified as a terrorist organization
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of India classified TRF as a terrorist organization on January of 2023 under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The group’s terrorism, militant recruitments and weapon, narcotic and arm cargo from Pakistan into J&K were cited as reasons.
Operated under the regional domination of LeT, TRF has been undergoing active surveillance since its inception in 2019 due to its links to various terror activities.
