This calcium-rich laddu made from figs and dates will give life to hollow bones and will also provide relief in PCOD

If your bones always ache or your joints crack, it means that there is a deficiency of calcium and vitamin D in your body. In such a situation, along with medicines, include some foods in your diet which are rich in calcium. If you consume laddu made of figs and dates daily, then the bones will be strong. Laddus made of figs and dates are rich in calcium and help in bringing life to hollow bones. Not only this, women suffering from PCOD problems also get a lot of benefits by consuming this laddu. Both figs and dates are excellent sources of calcium, which improves bone health. So, let’s know how to make fig and dates laddu?

Ingredients for Fig and Date Laddu:

1 cup dried figs, 1 cup dates, 2 tbsp ghee, half cup almonds, half cup cashews, half cup walnuts, 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds, 2 tbsp watermelon seeds, 2 tbsp sunflower seeds, half cup dry coconut, 1/3 tsp cardamom powder

How to make Fig and Date Laddu:

  • First step: First of all, soak figs and dates in water in a large vessel at night. After waking up in the morning, remove the seeds from the dates. Now put the figs and dates in a mixer jar and grind them finely.  
  • Second step: Now turn on the gas and place a pan on it, add 2 tablespoons of ghee to it. When the ghee becomes hot, add half a cup of jaggery and let the jaggery melt slowly. 
  • Third step: Turn on the gas on the other side as well put a pan on it and add half a cup of ghee. After that add half a cup of almonds, half a cup of cashews, half a cup of walnuts, 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds, 2 tablespoons of watermelon seeds, 2 tablespoons of sunflower seeds, and half a cup of dry coconut and roast it well. Once roasted, take it out in a big ball. 
  • Fourth step: Now put the mixture of figs and dates in the pan containing jaggery. Now add the dry fruit mixture to this mixture and mix all the ingredients well. When the mixture cools down a bit, make the mixture in a round shape with your hands to make laddus. Now cool the laddus and serve.
