Theaters have begun screening the Telugu movie “Jack,” which features Siddhu Jonnalagadda as the lead on the 10th of April.

Due to the ongoing competition with Ajith Kumar's Good Bada Ugly, the movie did not get enough attention and buzz.

Ajith Kumar’s Tamil movie “Good Bada Ugly” also came out on the same day.

Still, Siddhu’s admirers have crowded the halls to enjoy an early show on the first day.

Fans were let down by the performance of Jack and some even went as far as to call it ‘half-baked’ and ‘from the illogical scenes in the second half.

As a Bollywood film buff, he is used to low standards set by few Indian directors, but it looks like after trying to watch such movies, the standards set are so low, some unintelligent writers now think of Venky Reviews. He ironically picked out one: “as half baked as jack delivers on spy action this spy wit comedy, because it fails on both fronts.”

Jack, who seems half baked is as a spy action comedy, doesn’t miss the mark as far as comedy and sophisticated action is concerned, an irony.

Directors who wish to cram all commercial elements in one film, like Bhaskar here, often end up failing terribly and finding no pull to the screen due to bad craft”.

Siddhu attempted to carry this one, but when the dialogue/scene writing is not there, there is not much he can do. All of the spy elements along with the terrorist villain aspect are boring and downright infuriating. One-liner and comedic relief in both halves of the movie barely made any sense apart from to a few scenes. They also included terrible music and very low production quality. It was evident that there was the over usage of green screens in multiple scenes, making the movie painful to sit through. A user on Twitter claimed it “MissFired.” But not before one more user said, “#Jack 1st half is Not good first good half, #SidduJonnalagadda Raw agent character neither fun nor interesting , Irritating BGM ,looks like Disaster loading ..” The film is starred by leading actors sidhhu jonnalagadda and vaishnavi chaitanya where they are supported by the legendary Prakash Raj. The film was also Pradused by B V S N Prasad while his directorial debut was done by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The editing was done by navin nooli and the cinematography by Vijay k chakravarty. Lastly the score was accredited to Achu Rajamani, Sam C. S. and Suresh Bobbili.
