Simratt Kaur has garnered considerable attention with her most recent project, Vanvaas, which can be viewed on ZEE5. While the actress is working to establish herself anc make a name in the industry, she stays humble and down to earth. In a reflective moment, she spoke about a dialogue she had with seasoned actor Nana Patekar while filming Vanvaas, which truly reframed her outlook on career goals and the unrelenting pressure to achieve.

Simratt narrated how on location, she shared with Nana, saying, “Nana sir, Gadar was such a huge blockbuster. I always thought something like this would happen in my life someday, too.” A few thoughtful questions followed from Nana Patekar: “Do you have the privilege to eat two meals a day?” She replied with a yes. “Do you own a house?” Yes, she does. “Do you have a car?” She nodded yes. “Well,” he then told her, “You are already living your life. That’s the bonus. Avoid being greedy about success. Just do your work. You cannot control how well a film does. What you can do is focus on your craft and choose suitable scripts.”

Simratt retrospected this conversation and said that it made her reflect on the value of success in the entertainment industry. She learned there is much more to life than achieving fame and grateful for what she possesses rather than going backwards.
