Sharvari is set to kick off her career in the Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe with the forthcoming action-thriller Alpha, where she features alongside Alia Bhatt. It is slated to release on Christmas and is expected to set a new standard for the action genre in Bollywood.

The Franchise’s First: Female Leads

Sharvari said in an interview with Hindustan Times how thrilled she was to be part of a pioneering venture such as this one. “Alpha is a truly exciting venture. It’s not just an action film—it’s a game-changer,” she stated. This is the first time two female leads are starring in the YRF Spy Universe.

Shiv Rawail’s Direction, Follows a Blockbuster Franchise

Under the direction of Shiv Rawail, Alpha brings a different take to the YRF Spy Universe which started with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012. The franchise has had notable successes with War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. Alpha seeks to add to this list with the first female-led story.

From 'Vedaa' to 'Alpha': The Changing Action Journey of Sharvari

Sharvari has encountered earlier action experience with Vedaa but noted Alpha to be distinctive in its own way. “Vedaa was more about survival, While in Alpha, the action is very smooth and stylized to a great level. It’s a completely different approach,” she stated.

Balancing Growth and Expectations

Reflecting on her growth as an actor with the hits Munjya and her part in Maharaj, Sharvari feels grateful but wants to keep pushing herself further. “There’s always been a high benchmark I’ve set for myself. I’m working even harder now to meet it,” she remarked. Expressing her gratitude to the audience, she assured that she will keep working hard to maintain their trust.

After receiving praise for her role in the horror-comedy Munjya and the period drama Maharaj, Sharvari showcased further her versatility with Vedaa, alongside John Abraham. With a blend of action, dynamism, and transformation, she is set to mark her bollywood debut in Alpha, which will enhance her bollywood status.
