The now-viral LinkedIn post that has left netizens amazed was shared by Shantanu Naidu, one of Ratan Tata’s close aides, who spent Holi with senior citizens.

Recently promoted to General Manager and Head of Strategic Initiatives at Tata Motors, the 32-year-old took a break to attend senior citizens as a part of Goodfellows India, the companionship program he started with Tata’s support.

As he posted the pictures online he captioned, “Colouring outside the lines of age. A Happy intergenerational Holi from Goodfellows India.”

Naidu's photographs captured the cheerful essence of the event, and showed elderly participants dressed in white clothing, which was painted in dozens of vibrant colors. Their million dollar smiles were indicative of the sheer joy they felt.

Social media users applauded Naidu's efforts in the comments section of the post. “Those gorgeous smiles and you, Shantanu Naidu. For as long as I could look to Ratan Sir while he was living, it would always be you,” a user commented. While another user posted, “Best sort of Holi celebration.”

One user said, “What a gorgeous celebration of colors and elders coming together! The joy of embracing intergenerational relationships is boundless … It is so lovely to see that the spirit of Holi being celebrated by people of all ages.”

“Every moment is a masterpiece and joy has no age,” another user commented.

GoodFellow India was started with the help of Ratan Tata and deals with loneliness among senior citizens due to the lack of companionship.
