JEE Main 2025 Session 2 City Intimation Slip: For JEE Main in 2025, the second session city slips are available for download as announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). City slips can now be downloaded from the official website for the students who are appearing for the examination. The JEE Main II 2025 exams will be held from 2nd to 9th of April.
As per the information published, “The candidates are required to check/download their Examination City Intimation slip of JEE (Main)-2025 Session-2 (using the login credentials) from the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ w.e.f. 20 March 2025 and go through the instructions contained therein".
JEE Main 2025 Exam City Slip: How can I download?
Step 1: Go to the official JEE Main portal at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Look for the link that says “JEE Main 2025 Exam City Intimation Slip" on the homepage and click it.
Step 3: Enter either your application number, password, or date of birth to log into your account.
Step 4: The exam city slip will be displayed after logging into the portal.
Fifth step: Save the city slip and print a hard copy for reference.
JEE MAIN 2025: City slip vs Admit Card
Candidates need to note that the city slip and the admit card serve different purposes. The city notification slip reveals where the exam centre is situated.
In contrast, the other document, which is an admit card, mandatory for the exam hall, contains the address of the exam centre as well as a few other details including , date, paper, shift, time, roll number, her category. This employee ID card is non negotiable, candidates will not be allowed to sit the exam without it.
JEE MAIN 2025: Marking Scheme
There is negative marking for section B. However, the following actions will be taken concerning any anomaly or discrepancy which is noted after the key verification challenges process:
1. Right Answer: Four marks
2. Wrong answer: Minus one mark
3. No answer/Marked for Review: No mark
4. Where a question is determined to be dropped or removed from the examination then all candidates will receive four marks +4. This could happen as a result of human error or technical error.
5. Candidates are advised, if applicable, to use the constants provided in the questions for calculating variances. The answer needs to be rounded up to the nearest whole number.

Once a candidate is allocated a city, it is not permitted to make any changes. You can try reaching out to NTA if there is a major concern, but chances of being allocated to a different city are slim.
