State Bank of India (SBI) has brought back its special fixed deposit scheme—SBI Amrit Vrishti— which was previously marked as closed on March 31, 2025. Customers now have yet another chance to invest in this famous FD scheme. Here are all the details you need to have.

What is the SBI Amrit Vrishti Scheme?

The SBI Amrit Vrishti is a special term FD scheme that offers investors a compelling option for a fixed-term investment for 444 days.

Revised SBI Amrit Vrishti Scheme Interest Rates

SBI has recently lowered the interest rates on offer under this scheme to by 20 basis points. The modified interest rates became effective on 15, April 2025:

General Public: 7.05% (7.25%)

Senior Citizens Benefits

Senior citizens investing in the Amrit Vrishti scheme are entitled to additional interest benefits.

Seniors: 7.55%
Super Seniors: 7.65%

General FD Interest Rates at SBI

Apart from the special FD scheme, SBI has fixed deposits with a duration of 7 days to 10 years. These standard FDs are available at 3.50% to 7.50% interest .
