RISE Worldwide, a fully owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries, has announced a strategic joint venture with BLAST Esports Ltd, aiming to grow the esports ecosystem in India. The collaboration will bring BLAST’s global tournaments and production expertise to Indian audiences and the JioGames platform.

BLAST: A Global Leader in Esports Entertainment

BLAST is among the most prominent esports tournament organizers, with its events expected to reach over 2 billion views in 2025, spanning 150+ countries and broadcast in more than 30 languages.

The company partners with top gaming publishers, including Epic Games, Valve, Riot Games, KRAFTON, and Ubisoft, to deliver high-quality tournaments for popular games such as:

Counter-Strike 2

PUBG

Fortnite

Dota 2

Rainbow Six

Rocket League

These titles collectively serve a monthly active player base of over 350 million gamers.

Joint Venture to Transform Indian Esports Landscape

Under the agreement, a new joint venture entity will be established. It will help bring BLAST's events to India, hosted through JioGames. The venture will manage:
