New Delhi. China’s smartphone maker Redmi is ready to launch a new phone Redmi 12 in the Indian market. The Xiaomi sub-brand confirmed the launch on Monday via its official Twitter handle. The smartphone may come with MediaTek G88 SoC. Apart from this, a 50-megapixel primary sensor can be given in the phone. A hole-punch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery can be included in the phone.

According to Xiaomi, the Redmi 12 will be launched in India on August 1. The company is now teasing the phone through its website. A triple rear camera setup can be given in it.

Let us tell you that Redmi 12 was launched in Europe last month with Midnight Black, Polar Silver, and Sky Blue color options. If leaked reports are to be believed, the specifications of the Indian variant of Redmi 12 should be similar to the model launched in Europe. A 6.79-full-HD + (1,080X2,460 pixels) display can be given on the phone. Apart from this, the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC chip can be used as a processor. The phone can come with LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB.

A triple rear camera setup can be given for photography in Redmi 12 phone, in which a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and 2-megapixel macro sensor can be seen. While an 8-megapixel front sensor can be given for selfies and video calls.
