Mark Shankar, the son of Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, suffered burn injuries and smoke inhalation from a school fire accident in Singapore. He is recuperating at home now after receiving medical care.
Jaya Prada Shares Concern and Wishes for Speedy Recovery
On her Instagram, actress Jaya Prada posted a photo of Mark Shankar and accompanying caption wishing him a speedy recovery. Utterly shocked at the incident, she said, “Shocked to hear about the fire incident at a school in Singapore where Pawan Kalyan Anna’s son Mark Shankar has been injured. Strength and prayers to the family in this difficult time,” while still hoping for Mark Shankar's fast recovery.
Public and Celebrity Support Pours In
The Jana Sena Party confirmed the news on April 8 and spoke about Mark’s ongoing treatment in Singapore. His fans, along with many others took to social media, sending prayers and supportive messages.
Sudheer Babu and Jr NTR have even rallied their support and, lamented, over Mark and Kalyan family.
Chiranjeevi Shares Health Update
As of April 10, Chiranjeevi, who is the elder sibling of Pawan Kalyan, shared encouraging news about Mark, he said that the 7 year old patient has left the hospital and is recuperating at home.
