Paytm Payments Bank has finally announced Paytm UPI Lite support for iOS platform. Now iPhone users will be able to do secure and fast transactions without UPI PIN. Like RuPay Credit Card on UPI, Split Bill etc.
UPI Lite, which was launched by NPCI in September 2022, is a simplified version that is part of the UPI (UPI Lite Unified Payments Interface) payment system. It is designed to make small value transactions easy and fast.
What is UPI Lite?
UPI Lite is an on-device wallet that can be used with the facility to store up to Rs. 2000 can be made for payment. This facility is available on many popular payment apps including Paytm and Phone. However, Paytm became the first bank to launch UPI Lite in its super app. Now it has also been made available on the iOS platform.
Once the UPI Lite is set up, the user can easily transfer Rs. Instant and secure transactions up to 200 are allowed. In UPI Lite, the user can get Rs. 2,000, which means that the total daily consumption is Rs. Can be up to 4,000.
How to use Paytm UPI Lite on iPhone
Open Paytm App.
Tap on the ‘UPI Lite’ icon on the home screen.
– Enter and confirm your bank account details.
– Add money to your UPI Lite Wallet.
– Select the ‘UPI Lite’ option to make the payment.
– Enter the recipient’s UPI ID or scan their QR code.
– Enter the amount you wish to pay.
Tap on ‘Pay’.
