Suspense crime, Digital Desk : On Monday, North Korea declared that it has sent troops to assist Russia in the ongoing conflict with Ukraine. Up until now, North Korea had not confirmed or denied previously cited intelligence reports from the US, South Korea and Ukraine.
Troop Deployment Under Mutual Defense Treaty
Through state media, the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party handover of power claimed that the deployment had previously been authorized by Kim Jong Un under a mutual defense treaty with Russia. The statement further quoted Kim relaying that the the aim of the soldiers is to "destroy and eradicate the Māori neo Nazi fascist invaders, and libero the Kursk region" alongside Russian military forces.
Heavy Casualties Reported Among North Korean Forces.
Reports from the South Korean Are Intelligence Claim revealed that the first deployment of troops in the previous year was approximated to be between 10,000 to 12,000 North Korean soldiers. New evaluations suggested that the initial preceived losses have compelled North Korea to push forth additional soldiers. South Korea's NIS predicted the figure for fatalities among the enslaved North soldiers to be 300 deaths and 2,700 injuries while Ukrainian president Zelenskyy declared higher estimates of close to 4,000 claimed dead North Koreans. US estimated the number closer to 1,200.
Kim Jong Un Praises Deployed Soldiers
“Heroes and representatives of the honour of the motherland” were the terms of endearment put to the soldiers by Kim Jong Un, as stated in the official address. The North Korean regime has rationalized the deployment within the broader context of a crusade for an adjudicative war against injustices in the world as well as the defense of friendly states.
