Lucknow: The Scheduled Caste-Scheduled Tribe (SC-ST) Commission has been formed in Uttar Pradesh. Former MLA Baijnath Rawat has been made the chairman of the SC-ST Commission while Bechhan Ram and Jeet Singh Kharwar have been made the vice-chairman of the commission. 16 members have also been appointed to the commission. After the approval of the Governor, the list of new members of the commission has been released. Baijnath Rawat is a resident of Barabanki while Vice-Chairman Bechhan Ram is a former MLA and a resident of Gorakhpur. The other vice-chairman Jeet Singh Kharwar is a resident of Sonbhadra.
He was the chairman of the commission earlier also
Earlier, Baijnath Rawat was the chairman of the Scheduled Castes-Scheduled Tribes Commission. Bechan Ram and Jeet Singh Kharwar were also the vice-chairmen. These three leaders have been given a chance once again. Many members of the commission have also been repeated. A notification has also been issued in this regard.
